Libra 16
The Libra 16/22/25 series are designed to meet the needs of all modern microscopes ensuring you maximise your field of view to get the most your microscope can give you. With a peak 92% QE and a wide response across all modern fluorophores, combined with read noise as low as 1 electron, the Libra 16/22/25 models also ensure you capture the most signal for the lowest noise giving greatest quality documentation images.
The Libra 16 features a 16 mm diameter, aligning with the standard field of view for classical C-Mount optics. Its square-format sensor is optimally matched to the central, high-quality region of the optical path, delivering a flat, distortion-free fluorescence image.
The Libra 25 has a peak quantum efficiency of 92% and a low readout noise of 1.0e-electrons, designed for weak light imaging needs. You can choose to image in high sensitivity mode when signals are low or high dynamic range when you need to distinguish both high and low signals in the same image.
The Libra 16 operates at 63 fps ensuring you can focus without lag and capture quality video rate images. The camera is also complete with a full series of advanced triggers for combining with illumination devices for high-speed multichannel imaging experiments.
