Aries 6504
The Aries 6504 is built on a next-generation back-illuminated sCMOS platform, delivering generational improvements in readout noise, frame rate, and dark current. Designed for high-speed, high-dynamic-range imaging under low-light conditions, the camera achieves a readout noise of 0.8 e⁻ (RMS) and supports full-resolution acquisition at 297 fps with 4.2 megapixels. With a dark current of ≤0.01 e⁻/pixel/s at −20 °C, Aries 6504 is well suited for a wide range of high-speed, low-light imaging applications in life sciences, physical sciences, and industrial inspection.
In high-speed mode, the Aries 6504 operates at up to 297 fps at full 4.2 MP resolution, representing a threefold increase in frame rate compared with previous-generation sCMOS cameras of the same sensor format. Sub-electron readout noise down to 0.8 e⁻ is maintained at full resolution, enabling efficient photon utilization in high-speed, low-light conditions.
The high dynamic range mode supports 170 fps at 4.2 MP, combined with a full well capacity of up to 15 ke⁻ and true 16-bit digitization. This allows accurate capture of both low- and high-intensity signals within the same acquisition, supporting quantitative imaging across a wide dynamic range.
At −20 °C, the Aries 6504 exhibits a dark current as low as 0.01 e⁻/pixel/s, approximately one-fifth that of previous-generation 6.5 μm sCMOS cameras. This reduction significantly improves long-exposure performance and supports applications requiring extended integration times under low-light conditions.
