Overview

The Gemini 8KTDI LT is a lightweight TDI imaging platform designed for scalable industrial inspection applications. While maintaining the scientific-grade quantitative imaging capability of the previous-generation Gemini 8KTDI, the platform introduces a compact design optimized for industrial environments. It addresses key requirements in inspection accuracy, operational efficiency, system integration, and cost control for modern high-throughput production lines.

  • Lightweight Design for Efficient Integration

    Compared with the previous-generation 8KTDI high-performance camera, the Gemini 8KTDI LT features a 64% smaller overall size, 75% lower weight, and 50% lower power consumption, significantly reducing demand on system resources. To better meet the needs of efficient integration, several key structural components have also been optimized:
    ① Two cooling options are available—passive cooling and forced-air cooling—replacing the previous integrated air-and-water cooling design and providing greater flexibility for production line integration.
    ② A CXP interface, which is more compatible with mainstream industrial equipment systems, has been adopted to shorten equipment development and system commissioning cycles.

    In large-scale industrial inspection scenarios such as advanced packaging and AOI (automated optical inspection), production platforms are typically mature and highly stable. As a result, the key requirements for imaging equipment are focused on production-line compatibility and long-term reliability.
    The Gemini 8KTDI LT delivers a standard line rate of 500 kHz at 8K, fully meets the demands of stable, high-volume inspection. Compared with conventional models, it also provides greater speed headroom, effectively supporting future production takt time upgrades.

  • Scientific-Grade Quantitative Performance
    for Higher Yield Assurance

    The Gemini 8KTDI LT inherits the scientific-grade low-light imaging advantages of the previous-generation high-performance 8KTDI model, while offering two sensor options:
    ① Visible-optimized version: covers 300 nm to 1100 nm, with a peak QE of 94.2%
    ② UV-optimized version: covers 180 nm to 1100 nm, with QE up to 65.8% at the critical 266 nm application wavelength
    In addition, Tucsen‘s precision temperature control and pixel-level PRNU/DSNU uniformity correction technologies ensure stable quantitative accuracy in defect detection, providing a critical safeguard for production yield.

    ① G8KTDILT-FAN-CXP: visible-optimized sensor + active air-cooling architecture, ideal for biological fluorescence imaging and high-precision quantitative inspection in low-light industrial dark-field applications
    ② G8KTDILT-HS-CXP: visible-optimized sensor + passive cooling architecture, better suited for semiconductor back-end bright-field inspection and conventional industrial vision tasks
    ③ G8KTDILT-UV-HS-CXP: UV-optimized sensor + passive cooling architecture, designed for semiconductor back-end inspection and high-precision industrial micro-defect detection
